The Valencia uses the N801-8D xO.
Model 19 USES N1201-8A xO
Your better off with Valencia. Some one gave us the port hole and depth dimensions in a previous
post.
Same components for the rest.

You also have all the right components for A7-500-8
808-a
416
n501-8a
511b
Valencia is good . Model 19 better cause 1200 Xo with lower resonnance horn.
I would go with Model 19 if you want to buy 1200 XO with Iconic or GPA.
PS: 807-8A and 808-8A are the same.

For home use the Model 19 was arguably one of the best products offered by Altec. Much of the 19's goodness can be attributed to the design of the crossover network. It is more refined than the A7 or Valencia crossovers. Also, the A7 needs room to project as it was designed to do in a large space. The 19's, while not designed for a small space, will work better in a home environment. The A7 doesn't have much for real bottom end unlike the 19 which is generally quite pleasing. Here's a link to the Model 19 crossover:

If you can't find a Model 19 crossover you can build one.

The A7 is more suited for small medium auditoriums or a grand lounge . I prefer them mounted on huge caster reinforced with a second sheet of plywood at the bottom.
For home usage you don't really need a front loaded cabinet of that size. If your decor is already in place : A model 19 or Valencia is preferable. A library or den or finished occasional room is the best place to place them.
You will still be able to crank them up and impress your friends.
This is my personnal opinion.

Hi
B Fish is right Flux Density is 13000 gauss vs 12000 gauss for 808. I misread the tech sheet.
Meaning that more efficient
ver 100 db at 1 watt 1 meter.

M19 used 802-8G HF driver, if i am not mistaken...
I had both M19 and A7 at one time....
I still have the A7, something about that horn loaded 515B low mid..... very special when you get right complement of EQ/amplifiers
I prefer it over M19 direct radiating 416 low mid
and my liking of system was not based on woofer, I changed both into the other systems, prefer the horn loaded sound
to compensate for bass, get subs....

Hello ,
I must get my eyes checked.
The 808 has a gauss of 15250 and 111.7db 1w1m
The 807 " " 13000 " " 109.5db 1w1m
The 802 same as 808
